Job Description
The Travel Consultant is responsible for assisting clients with planning, booking, and managing their travel arrangements including flights, accommodation, tours, and transportation. The role involves providing expert advice on travel options, ensuring smooth travel experiences, handling customer inquiries, and delivering excellent customer service while maximizing sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Assist clients in planning and booking travel arrangements.
Provide information on travel packages, destinations, flights, hotels, and transportation.
Prepare travel itineraries based on clients' needs and budgets.
Make flight, hotel, and tour reservations.
Process bookings, cancellations, and amendments.
Respond to customer inquiries through phone, email, and other communication channels.
Promote the company's travel products and services to achieve sales targets.
Ensure excellent customer service before, during, and after travel.
Maintain accurate customer and booking records.
Stay updated on travel regulations, visa requirements, and industry trends.
Requirements & Qualifications
Requirements:
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to plan and organize travel itineraries effectively
Sales and upselling skills for travel packages
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
Proficiency in MS Office and booking systems
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple clients
Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
Passion for travel and tourism industry
Job Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor Degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field
Basic Knowledge of filling system and office administration
Proficiency in Microsoft office ( word, excel, power point)
Must be Based in DODOMA
Strong communication and organizational skills
