Job Description
The Sales Officer (Cold Calls & Demos) is responsible for generating new business opportunities through proactive cold calling, lead follow-ups, and conducting product or service demonstrations to potential clients. The role focuses on identifying prospects, converting leads into customers, and supporting overall sales growth through direct customer engagement and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities
Make outbound cold calls to prospective customers.
Identify and qualify potential leads.
Schedule and conduct product demonstrations for prospective clients.
Present the company's products and services professionally.
Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers.
Follow up with leads to convert them into customers.
Achieve assigned sales and conversion targets.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
Prepare and submit daily or weekly sales reports.
Gather customer feedback and share market insights with the sales team.
Requirements & Qualifications
Requirements:
Strong communication and persuasion skills
Confidence in making cold calls and handling objections
Ability to conduct clear and engaging product demonstrations
Target-driven and results-oriented mindset
Good customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets
Basic computer skills (MS Office, CRM systems is an advantage)
Self-motivated, proactive, and energetic.
Qualifications:
Degree holder (any field)-Business Marketing or IT is an added Advantage
At least 1 year in sales
Fluent in Swahili and English
Confident Phone communicator
Good with Smartphone and Laptop
Willing to follow up and report.
