Job Description
The Office Attendant is responsible for supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the office by maintaining cleanliness, handling office errands, delivering and receiving documents, preparing refreshments, and assisting staff with general office support services. The role ensures a clean, organized, and professional working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and maintain offices, meeting rooms, and common areas.
Ensure all office spaces are tidy and well-organized.
Prepare and serve tea, coffee, and refreshments to staff and visitors.
Handle basic office errands such as delivering documents within departments.
Refill office supplies such as water, stationery, and toiletries.
Assist in arranging meeting rooms before and after meetings.
Support photocopying, printing, and simple administrative tasks when required.
Dispose of waste and ensure proper hygiene standards are maintained.
Report any maintenance issues or cleaning needs to the supervisor.
Perform any other duties assigned to support smooth office operations.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
Physically fit and able to perform routine office support duties.
Positive attitude and willingness to support different office functions.
Ability to maintain cleanliness and confidentiality in the workplace.
Basic reading and writing skills in English and Swahili.
Qualifications:
Certificate of Secondary Education (Form IV) or higher.
Certificate in Office Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an added advantage.
Previous experience in a similar role is an added advantage.
Basic knowledge of office procedures and workplace etiquette.
