Job Description
The Accounting Intern will support the finance team in day-to-day accounting activities, including data entry, bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, financial record management, and preparation of financial reports. The internship provides practical experience in accounting processes, financial documentation, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in recording daily financial transactions in accounting systems.
Support preparation of invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
Assist in filing and organizing financial documents.
Help in preparing basic financial reports and summaries.
Reconcile bank statements under supervision.
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Assist in data entry and maintaining accurate financial records.
Help in preparing payroll information (if assigned).
Participate in audits and stock/financial checks when required.
Perform any other accounting-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
Knowledge of accounting software is an added advantage.
